So far my favorite TCR is ''Up Against the Wild.'' It's such a good book because you can understand all of the characters feeling and my favorite story in the book is ''The Law of Club and Fang.'' I say this because it includes animals and it is amazing story. It shows the point of view of the dog named Buck and he's put into a place where he doesn't belong. It also feels like your in the story some how and that is my favorite TCR.

Hmm, well that kind of a hard question since I didn't like any TCR just kidding. I think my favorite was the "Cultivating Natural Resources".Why you ask, well I liked it because It showed how something we eat could be used for gas animals and more things.I also showed where different corn is grown, My favorite part was the part where they talked about the 3 sisters, It seemed cool how they all worked together to grow. I also liked seeing peoples opinions on corn. Anyways that's my favorite TCR what's your favorite, and why?

My favorite TCR book was Conflict that shaped a nation. I say this because it really showed a lot of emotions. It also has diary so it shows what that person felt and what he went through. I also like that everyone in the tcr have different points of view and how they felt during the war. On page 10 I read that women were not allowed to go fight in the war but there were allowed to help the people that were hurt or dying. But there was a women named Deborah Sampson that dressed up like a guy and fought in the war. There were also a lot of under age kids that went to fight in the war. To fight in the war you had to be at least 16 years old or 15 if your parents said you could fight in the war. That is why I really like that trc.

Out of all of the 8 TCR's, my favorite one is the Water Fact and Fiction. I say this because it looks interesting to read. I have three reasons to state why this is my favorite TCR. One reason why I like this TCR is because they are legends and they contain lessons. There are two legends in this book. One is The Water Famine and the other on is,"The Pagoda Hil of the Imperial Springs. My second reason is because they have informational science. The next text we'll be reading is Questions and Answers about the Ocean. My last reason is because it is all about water and I like to drink water. These were all of my reasons to why this is my favorite TCR.

So far my favorite TCR unit has been CONFLICTS THAT SHAPE A NATION. I say this because it gives us a lot of information about our history. Also there are a lot of primary sources and it came from people who actually experienced our history and all the disasters that occured. Another reason why i liked this unit is because i liked how some woman helped and participated in war and our history.

To be honest, I love the "Water Fact & Fiction" we are doing! Just to be sure, it's unit 8. A few reasons why I love this unit is because.... I love the legends that it includes! Also, for me, water is a very elegant thing that is just so nice to watch. The legends it includes are really cool and I love the fact that it includes water in a funny way, & very entertaining, witch also explains some places, such as rivers, lakes, ponds, and other places with water fountains in them! The interview we all read was really informative in a nice way because it includes water and talks about how we should and must help conserve it! It also explains the fact that it is very scarce these days! Those are some of the reasons why I love unit 8, witch we are currently reading!

I honestly, don't know which one is my favorite. All of them were, okay. But none of them were my "favorite". I really don't have evidence to support why they were okay. I just, think that they were okay, and none of then were my favorite.

I would say that unit 4 is my favorite out of all. I say this because it has different stories (and poems) that tell you how the author is feeling. It shows emotion and actions. Some stories teach you lessons like Asparagus, while others give you history like Gold Country. I think it's fun to learn about different peoples points of view. Overall, that is why I like unit 4 the most.

My favorite out of all of the TCRs is Conflicts That Shaped a Nation. I say this because, in The youth of battle shows how kids at very young age go to war. It also shows in The Nation of War it shows the feeling if a kid sad because losing family members. In this TCR it also shows the wars and culture these people from the past did. It also clears statements or speeches that people from the past said. This is why I say Conflicts That Shaped a Nation.

OH MY GOD! We already did 8 Units! That must be 3 x 8 which = 24 weeks! Which are a few months already! If I had to pick one it would probably be Recognizing Author's Point Of Views because it told us more about the authors and there feeling in the story. One of the story's told us about how people traveled to the west from different countries and that book was called Gold Country. Another story that we read was Esperanza Rising or an excerpt called Asparagus & it talks about how people in Mexico had to lose their old life and start new ones in another country & the author might've experienced this & many more stories that talk about stuff like this.

So we have done 8 units so far. So, my favorite so far is unit 7 'Conflicts That Shaped A Nation' because it talks about war and how people feel about the war and if they are against it. For Example: In page 17 paragraph 20 it shows the kid's feeling about the war "This sad war is a bag thing, My pa-pa went, and died in the army, My big brother went too and got shot" and that tells the reader (me ) how the kid felt about his family members dying at war.

My favorite TCR is Up Against the Wild. I say this because, I like the stories. For example I like Androcles and the Lion because at the end Androcles does not die. Another reason why this TCR is my favorite is because it involves someone adapting to a new place. Like The Law of Club and Fang. Or Julie Fights for Survival. That is why TCR #6 or Up Against the Wild is my favorite.

My favorite TCR so far, is "Up Against the Wild". I say this because I thought the readings in the TCR were very interesting and I loved all of the excerpts. I especially liked the excerpt called "The Law of Club and Fang", from a book called "The Call of the Wild". After reading that excerpt I read the full book from the library and I absolutely LOVED IT! It's one of my favorite books now. I also liked the excerpt called "Julie Fights for Survival" from a book called "Julie of the Wolves". I thought it was extremely interesting how she fights for her life in a difficult environment. These are some reasons to why "Up Against the Wild" is my favorite TCR.

My favorite TCR unit is the 6th unit which is "Up against the wild." I like "Up against the wild" because in the stories it was showing how the main characters wanted to survive. In "The Call of the Wild" and Julie of the Wolves" excerpts Julie and Buck both wanted to survive and get in the pack of wolves. The excerpts were interesting excerpts from the original books as well. Even though there are other units "Up Against the Wild."

My favorite unit is Unit 3. I liked that TCR that showed us all about corn. Just corn. I learned a lot about corn, and how it's used as ethanol for cars. I found it really awesome. The other units, uh, let's just say they were okay. But Unit 3 was the best!!! We also learned about the corn belt. On page 7, there's a picture showing how much we use corn as food products and ethanol. I never knew corn was this important. Okay, that's all I have to say.

Well my favorite TCR so far is the " Life Science. " This is my favorite so far because in page 5 it has a picture with infomation about the corn's body parts. For example the tassel is what releases the pollen, also the stalk is what supports the plant. In page 6 it shows how plants live.

Well, I think my favorite unit is the "Characters' Relationships". That one was my favorite because it talks about Tom Sawyer and some of his adventures he had with Huckle Berry and a boy named Joy. According to the text it says, " They took their lath swords, dumped their other traps on the ground, and struck a fencing attitude, foot to foot, and began a grave, careful combat..." Also in the text it says, "Tom and Huck resolved to keep a look out for that Spaniard when he should come to town spying out for chances..." Well i hope you know why that was my favorite unit.
